Hazeltine National Golf Club

The mission of the founders of Hazeltine was to build and maintain a golf course suitable for the conduct of national championships. An important part of the mission was to develop a membership that supported this concept - a membership that felt a responsibility to the game of golf and its rules and traditions. Similarly, it requires the highest standards of conduct by all members and guests as they play the game.

Hazeltine National Presents 'Chat with the Author' Book Night

Hazeltine Member and Author, Joe Shuster, will speak about his book "Beyond The Fossil Fools" The Roadmap to Energy Independence by 2040, Friday, September 5, 2008 at 6:30 pm in the Gleneagles Dining Room.

Join us as Shuster describes how the fundamental problems of fossil foolishness — the rapid depletion of scarce resources and the mounting pollution from burning fossil fuels — are made worse by growing populations and economies and by the growing demand for energy to fuel agriculture, industry, and energy intensive lifestyles.

Major Championship Golf Returns to Minnesota

PGA of Amercia and Hazeltine National Golf Club once again unite to bring the historically strongest field in championship golf back to Minnesota. All eyes will be on the Twin Cities during the 91st PGA Championship, August 10-16, 2009, as the greatest names in golf descend upon Hazeltine National to compete for the coveted Wanamaker trophy.
